Every year the province agency promulgates the price of land but only common rules based on multiple criteria, such as roads, soil type, location. Therefore, management agencies have difficulty in valuation of each parcel of land to serve as transfer tax calculations when change the purpose of land use. Nowadays, the geographic information system (GIS) is one of the most effective tools for landuse management. Particularly, MapInfo software hasbeen used for normalization spatial and non?spatial data, and then being combinedwith MapBasic language programming to create the management interface entirely in Vietnamese and automate designing tasks based on MapBasicIDE software. The research have created various thematic maps about the traffic transportation, type of landuse, its location, road maps and land prices in specificareas. The reasearch has also developed a managing program which runs on the MapInfo with a fast processing speed. This program can provideuseful information about land pricesaccordingly to specific land parcel, its location and its landuse type. Finally, the program can also provide a helpful function that allows users to update the newest information and data about land price and can monitorthe land pricesyears by years
