The research aimed to determine the factors influencing the organizational commitment of healthcare employees. The research model was developed based on a combination of social exchange theory, Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, Kinicki and Kreitner’s equity theory and Herzberg's two-factor theory. This study used exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and linear. Material commitment includes salary, rewards, and welfare, while spiritual commitment includes working environment, leadership, peer relationships, training and promotion, and job characteristics. The results show that these factors had varying levels of influence on the organizational commitment of healthcare employees, in descending order of strength. In addition, the study proposed several implications to help hospital management enhance the organizational commitment of their healthcare employees in the future.
