Argumentative ability is one of the essential skills required for students. This paper introduces Toulmin’s argumentation model as an effective method to develop this ability for high school students. Toulmin’s model helps bridge the gap between real-world arguments and the traditional Aristotelian syllogism, making arguments more detailed and persuasive. This model has been successfully applied in various fields, including literature, economics, psychology, law, and mathematics… The paper presents an overview of Toulmin’s argument model and proposes its application in high school mathematics teaching to develop students’ argumentative ability
