The results of surveying the ability to secrete siderophore from 101 strains of endophytic and rhizospheric bacteria of rice have selected 81 strains capable of secreting siderophore (80,2%), with halo ring diameter ranging from 6,75-58,00 mm. Applying PCR technique with primer pair PupAf/PupAr to check the presence of pseudobactin gene asscociated with induced resistance on rice, result showed that 24 strains out of 81 strains from previous experiment possessed pseudobactin gene (accounting for 29,6%). As a result, investigating the induced resistance ability in greenhouse conditions of strains carrying the pseudobactin gene by seed coat and soil drench, showed that all strains showed systemic protection to rice blast caused by Pyricularia oryzae, notably strains flourescent Pseudomonas E25 showed highest disease reduction. In another hand, 22/24 strains of these bacteria are also capable of antagonizing blast fungus on agar plates to different degrees, except E24 and E28 do not show an antagonistic mechanism. Therefore, the reduction of leaf blast disease should relate induce systemic resistance alone or combine with antibiosis mechanism based on systemic antibiotics secreted by the bacteria in the rhizosphere. In addition, result also found that the application of PCR technique is effective in early and accurate screening from the beginning of bacterial strains possessing induce resistance genes such as pseudobactin.
