This paper investigates the level of understanding of British culture in the communication of EFL learners. Participants are 71 first, second, and third-year English Studies students from the General English Studies, High-Quality English Studies program, and Translation and Interpreting Studies at Can Tho University (CTU). Data were collected using a five-Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Findings showed that students majoring in Translation and Interpreting have a higher level of understanding of British culture in communication. It was also found that participants did not know how to make a specific plan for studying British culture in communication. Based on the results, we proposed some pedagogical implications to enhance EFL learners' understanding of British culture. Keywords- British culture, communication, solutions.
