The quasiparticle properties of various emerging materials have been investigated in theoretical and experimental studies. They concerned applications with signifcant roles in many technologies in industries, e.g., energy storages, electronic devices, and so on. The full examinations from the 1D-3D materials cover penta-graphene nanoribbons, halogen-adsorbed silicene nanoribbons, metals/transition metals-adsorbed graphene nanoribbons, zigzag carbon and silicon nanotubes, boron/carbon and nitrogen-substituted silicene systems, germanene and its structural defects, plumbene adsorption hydrogen, stage-2/3/4 in AlCl4/Al2Cl7 graphite intercalation compounds, LiFeO2, bilayer HfX2, Li4Ti5O12, adsorbed hydrogen, bismuth chalcogenide topological insulators and will be provided in detail.
