The current study aims at exploring the comprehensive engineering performance of a self-compacting concrete (SCC) comprised of unground rice husk ash (URHA) substituting to fine aggregate. The unit weight and slump flow test with/without J-Ring installation has been applied for estimation on the fresh property of the SCC. In the other hand, the strength of the hardened SCCs was assessed by the tests of compressive strength. Experimental results showed that the fresh SCC mixtures made from the URHA exhibited excellent flowability and homogenous composition. The fine aggregate replacement with URHA up to 100% in volume insignificantly influenced the compressive strengths of the hardened SSC. The utilization of URHA replacing for fine aggregate at 50% in volume slightly increased the compressive strengths but increased the water absorption of the hardened SCC
