This study investigates the manufacture and properties of controlled low-strength materials (CLSM) that were produced using fly ash (FA) and brick powder (BP) as main materials. CLSM were made with different weight ratio of FA-to-BP (100/0, 90/10, 80/20, 70/30, 60/40) and constant amount of 10% cement and 3% CaCL2. Moreover, CLSM mixtures were prepared at initial ratio of water to solid (w/s) of 0.35 and added water to achieve the flow under requirement of ASTM D6103. A variety of tests were done to evaluate the properties of CLSM specimens such as flow, setting time, fresh density and compressive strength. The study results show that using FA and BP to produce CLSM is feasible approach that helps to reduce environmental pollution and obtains the sustainable goal in construction material sector.
