This co-authored book chapter presents the intercultural perspective on language teaching and learning. Its focus is on teachers experience with intercultural lnaguage teaching and learning in English as a foreign language teaching context in Asia. The chapter includes two studies. One study is from Indonesian context and the other one in Vietnamese context. Implications are drawn to highlight the importance of teachers' being able to guide students intercultural language learning in classrooms alongside their language learning regardless the teachers are native or non-native speakers of English.
