The study presents the behavior of soil cement samples improved by concrete cores. A core of 17.5mm in diameter is installed in the centered of the sample when making sample for experiment. Strength of the experimental concrete core is 20MPa. Afterwards, simulations by using ABAQUS software are conducted to illustrate the unconfined  compressive test and investigate behavior in terms of strength and friction between the soil cement and the core. As a result, the simulated model gives similar result to that obtained from experiment.
