This study combines qualitative and quantitative methods to survey the difficulties of 866 primary school students in the Mekong Delta in learning online in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic. The research results show that, in addition to 8 difficulties in the online learning of students, according to Muilenburg and Berge’s research, the additional difficulties include external problems (students’ learning environment, family and surrounding community); and internal difficulties from the students themselves (preparation for lessons, health and psychological factors of students). In addition, the study also shows the results of a survey of online-learning prospects within the post-Covid-19 era.
