Project-based teaching is a form of teaching in which students must work in groups, perform complex learning tasks associated with reality; through that process, students develop their own learning knowledge and other skills. However, the application of this teaching method high school Mathematics still faces many difficulties. The article presents the method of applying project-based teaching to the content “Equations and system of equations in many unknowns” in Grade 10 Algebra program by exploiting the history of Mathematics.
