At the coastal area of the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, the water demand has increased with the progress of economic development in recent years, groundwater use is rapidly expanding due to the difficulty of using surface water due to salt water intrusion and water pollution. In this research, in order to evaluate the influence of excess water intake of groundwater, based on the application of the existing iMod model, for SocTrang Province where a remarkable drop in groundwater level is observed, in order to promote appropriate use management of groundwater We plan to construct a groundwater model.
