Pesticides are heavily used in Vietnamese agricultural sector. While they bring numerous benefits to the sector, they have detrimental effects on human health and environment. The farmers are especially most vulnerable to pesticide exposure. The aim of this research is to estimate willingness to pay of farmer for personal protective equipment (PPE) with different attributes. Choice Experiment (CE) and Binary Logistic Regression (BLR) were, respectively, used to evaluate WTP and to determine factors affecting the WTP. Data was collected from direct interviews with a hundred twenty farmers in Vinh Long province. The result showed that most of the farmers were aware of the use of PPE during spraying, mixing of pesticides. The number of respondents using PPE was rather high. However, the equipment was still in poor conditions and the way they have been applied was not appropriate and adequate as cautioned. Farmers' WTP for PPE ranged from 277,000VND to 292,000VND per set. Elements that affected farmers' WTP for PPE were income, farming area and education.
