In this paper, a PLC system for production process automation is developed to remote control and monitor via internet using IoT platform. WinCC/Web Navigator platform of SIMATICS is employed to build Web sever structure and website for this purpose. The proposed system is also applied to control and monitor remotely the temperature of a net spring roll making machine. Experimental results show that the proposed solution is fully applicable in production process automation and consistent with industry 4.0.
