The research was carried out in Laboratory of Plant Protection Department, College of Agriculture, Can Tho University to screen actinomycetes isolates able to control soft rot disease on Tuberose caused by Erwinia sp.. Examination antagonistic ability of actinomycetes isolates in controlling Erwinia sp. with 5 replications. The results found that 4 CM22.AG, BT44.VL, VT40.CT and LV15.ĐT have high antagonistic ability with the radius of inhibition zones reaches 6.060mm; 5.122mm; 3.600mm and 2.434mm, respectively at 7 days after inoculation. The ability of inhibiting density of Erwinia sp. by 4 actinomycetes isolates (CM22.AG, BT44.VL, VT40.CT and LV15.ĐT) was checked with 5 replications. The result found that CM22.AG isolate has the highest inhibition effecicacy with the lowest log conidia concentration reaches 8.15 (cfu/ml) at 48 hours after testing. On the other hand, protease activity assay was tested with 5 replications. The results found that all testing isolates could produce protease and 2 isolates, CM22.AG and LV15.ĐT have expressed the highest proteinolytic activity with the protein lyses halo radius of 14.21mm and 14.05mm respectively at 9 days after testing.
