With the complicated expressions of climate change and the risk of depletion of natural resources, most countries around the world consider green economic development an indispensable step in their economic development strategy, including Vietnam. The green economy not only sets economic development goals but also pays much attention to human happiness, social justice and environmental and ecological issues. Over the past time, Vietnam has implemented many measures to manage, effectively exploiting and sustainably using natural resources, fuels and raw materials, encouraging the development of natural resources, fuels, raw materials and  environmentally friendly products, renewable, reusable and recyclable; promoting sustainable production and consumption on the basis of innovation, creativity, and development of sustainable production and consumption patterns, promoting sustainable lifestyles and improving people's quality of life. This process also entails many aspects of social morality, the relationship between people and nature, attitudes, values, justice, and happiness. The article analyzes the status quo of green economny transition in Vietnam and its ethical aspects, thereby suggesting policy recommendations for reference.
