Teachers of Mathematics in high schools must understand how to use active teaching methods into their instruction in order to maximize students' learning activities. Teaching mathematical concepts, theorems, and formulas are all activities designed to provide students with the knowledge of mathematics. The purpose of this paper is to refer to the process for teaching the formula for calculating the distance between a point and a straight line in the direction of activity theory, as well as to provide related illustrative examples.
