Agro-forestry is an important economic sector in coastal districts in paticular and Quang Nam province in general. This paper displays the calculation results of economic efficiency of main agro-forestry production types and models and the analysis results of the determinants of the typical rice crop production in coastal districts. At the same time, 4 solution groups are proposed to improve economic efficiency of this sector. If the evaluative result of economic efficiency combines with the assessment result of ecological adaption levels and social efficiency of crops, it will be capable to plan detail regions for agro-forestry in the research area.
