CTUImprovementProject,ODA-fundedbytheGovernmentofJapan,aimsto
strengthen CTU to become an internationally recognized educational institution in the
fields of agriculture, aquaculture, environment and related fields. Its main components
include human resource development, research projects, facility construction, procurement
of equipment, and consulting services.
Besides, Japanese Government also provides non-refundable aid for conducting the
Technical Cooperation Project "Building capacity for CTU to be an excellent institution of
education, scientific research and technology transfer" to support the implementation of CTU
Improvement Project.
On November 21st, 2016, the contract for Consulting Services for CTU Improvement Project
was officially signed between CTU and the Joint Venture of Nihon Sekkei, Inc. (NS), Japan
International Cooperation Center (JICE), EARL Consultants, Inc. (ER), and National General
Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company (NAGECCO). This event can be regarded as a
milestone for the effective and regulated operation of the Project.

universities, JICA.
- 06 conferences, seminars on
scientific research.
- 04 meetings to introduce
Japanese partner universities to
Master and PhD candidates.
- 16 applicants granted by 911
Project for PhD programs in Japan.
- 04 research projects conducted
under Technical Cooperation
Project with a total budget of 4.2
billion VND.
