External scholarship funds supporting students
CTUhasfulfilleditsmissionsandgainedgreatachievementsthankstothecontinuous
effortsofthegenerationsofstaffandstudents,besidesvaluableandpracticalcontributions
to encourage, motivate students through various scholarship programs and funding by
external individuals, organizations and enterprises such as Odon-Vallet Foundation, Singapore
Business Federation, the Asian Foundation, Can Tho Study Encouragement Association, Kova,
VNHELP, Toyota, VietHope, Yamaha, etc.
Each year, students of CTU have had chances to access many different sources of scholarships.
In the school year 2014-2015, there were 670 students receiving scholarships from external
organizations with total amount of nearly 3 billion VND. In 2015-2016 school year, 625
students were supported with the amount of more than 3 billion VND. Apart from cash
supports, students have also benefited from the following useful activities such as participation
in volunteering work; internship in organizations or enterprises; attending conferences,
workshops, and cultural exchanges.
The concerns and support of philanthropists and sponsors not only mean timely support for
students with difficulties to stabilize their lives and strive in learning and training, but the
valuable encouragement for the University to well-perform its training missions. In the coming
time, CTU hopes to continue receiving the enthusiastic supports to join the University in
fostering "future green sprouts" of the country.
