Strengthening external activities, participation in international cooperation forums
International cooperation
activities
have
always
been
considered one of the important
development strategies of CTU. In
the past year, CTU has stepped up
diplomatic activities, participation
in international cooperation forums
such as the annual session of HEEAP
Program
(Higher
Engineering
Education Alliance Program) to
facilitate innovation and improve the
quality of engineering education to
satisfy ABET standards; Conference
of VLIR Vietnam Network on Food
Bioscience in Belgium; Japan-Vietnam Workshop, the 61st Pugwash Conference in Japan;
especially, Forum on Cooperation between Enterprises and Universities held by the Embassy
of Italy in Vietnam to provide opportunities for businesses and universities of the two countries
to exchange, discuss and identify cooperation possibilities in the fields of education, training,
science and technology.
In addition, CTU's delegations
have also visited and worked with
University of Phoenix, Arizona State,
Texas, South Florida (America) and
expanded cooperation with Delhi
University, Prune University (India),
National Taiwan University; Korea
National University of Education; etc.
CTU
focuses
on
developing
extensive cooperation in training
and scientific research with institutes
and universities all over the world;
therefore, many bilateral and multilateral memoranda of understanding have been signed
with nearly 20 organizations in Taiwan, Korea, America, Italy, Japan, Philippines, Thailand,
etc. This provides CTU's staff and students with wonderful chances to learn, exchange and
widen their knowledge and experiences in the advanced learning and research environments
in the world.
