CTU Improvement Project using Japanese ODA Loans
In2015,theproject"CTUImprovement"usingODAloansofJapaneseGovernment
officially operated. The project aims to upgrade CTU to be an excellent and internationally
recognized institution of education, scientific research, technology transfer and
governance.
The project is expected to contribute to socio-economic development, adaption to climate
change, environmental protection, increase of agriculture and fisheries' value in the MD
region; to provide high-quality human resources; and to improve scientific research in
several key fields. It is scheduled for completion within 7 years (2015-2022) with a total
investment of more than 100 million USD.
The project has five components including development of human resources, facility
construction, equipment procurement, and consulting services procurement and
implementing joint research programs, in which 36 scientific research programs has been
announced in November 2015.
CTU believes that with the leadership of the Communist Party Committee, Rectorate board,
the collective resolve of the University's officers and employees, along with the supports
of Japanese organizations, the project will complete on schedule, bring about positive
results for the development of CTU, and contribute to enhancing the cooperative relations
between the two countries.
