Rector: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan
The Rector is responsible for the overall governance and management of the University,
reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) of Vietnam, the localilties
in Mekong Delta, especially to the Communist Party Committee of Can Tho City and
the University Communist Party Committee, as wel as al the staff members for all the
activities at the general and strategic levels for the overall development of the University in
accordance to the Communist Party and Government's orientations, guidelines and policies.
Specifically, he is directly in charge of strategic planning for the University development,
managing, planning and developing human resources, financial budget, capital
construction, services and technology transfer of the University; directly assigns planning
making, personnel, finance, foundation construction, services and the development of the
Demonstration High School.
Vice Rector: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Hien
Dr. Hien is in charge of
affairs in politics and
ideology, student management,
directing the activities of the
University Communist Party
and the University's mass
organizations including the
Youth Union, Student Union,
Labor Union and Veteran
Association. She is also
responsible for culture and art
performance activities.
