From raw materials of Enhydra fluctuans Lour., essential oils (0,05%) containing 17 compounds of which the main components D-limonen (23,311%) and phytol (17,097%) were extracted by the steam distillation method. From petroleum ether fractions of Enhydra fluctuans Lour., ceramide, beta-sitosterol-3-O-b-D-glucopyranoside, cerebroside were isolated. Their structures were identified by NMR and MS spectrometric methods. This is the first report on the occurence of these three compounds in Enhydra fluctuans Lour.
