The objective of this study is to analyze polymorphic association of GHSR candidate gene with traits such as body weight, average daily gain, and feed intake and feed conversion ratio in broilers. Therefore, a total of 212 Tau Vang male chickens from 36-13 weeks old were selected and kept in private cages to record observed traits. Single nucleotide polymorphism at position A2044G (intron 1) was identified by using PCR-RFLP/Hin6I. It was indicated that (i) genotypic frequency was in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, and (ii) this polymorsphim did not affect traits.
