This research aimed to assess the current situation of the training of students majoring in physical education and propose a number of issues that exist in the current period at Can Tho University. The research results had statistics on the status of enrollment activities from 2004 to the present; curriculum program under the credit system at Can Tho University, and the conditions to ensure such as the status of the teaching staff, the status of facilities; The study also listed the employment positions of graduates in the last three years as the request of the Ministry of Education and Training. Since then, two proposals have been made for the Ministry of Education and Training and two petitions for Can Tho University so that the program of higher education teachers is better and better.
